Hi, my name is

Zubin Sidhu.
CS, Finance & Entrepreneurship student at Purdue. I build LLMs, agents, apps, games, and hardware.
Projects

AI Glaucoma Detector
Image recognition AI model to assist ophthalmologists with diagnosing patients with glaucoma using Res-Net V50 Neural Network model

Oh Hell Card Game
A real-time multiplayer card game with an authoritative server — share a link and play with friends, or play against bots.

Waffle Social Media
A social media platform with features to allow a secure and easy to navigate user experience right from your desktop.
In progressDaily Financial Brief
Every morning, parallel agents scrape financial news and an LLM synthesizes a pre-market brief for investment insight.
Zubin's Dungeon Quest
A 2D roguelike built in GameMaker Studio 2 with procedural runs, exciting combat, and modular educational systems
S.P.A.R.C
An in-house large language model built from the ground up through architecture, training, and the lessons of making a model my own.
Research & Writing
- PaperArtificial intelligence in glaucoma detection using color fundus photographs This article studies AI-based glaucoma detection from color fundus photographs using a ResNet-50V2 deep learning model to classify glaucomatous optic neuropathy versus normal optic nerve images.
- BlogHow Does Wireless Charging Work? This blog post discusses how wireless charging works, its various components, and how it is used for charging devices without the need for physical contact.
- BlogThe World of Autonomous Driving This blog post discusses how autonomous driving is the future of transportation and how it is changing the way we live and work.
Experience
AI Development Intern @ Lakshya Advance Tax Services
PresentBuilt AI-driven tools and automated backend workflows by integrating agentic systems. Held weekly technical meetings to discuss what workflows were modified so analysts could modify workflows with new agentic systems. Worked directly with the CEO to ensure client privacy was upheld with AI integration.
First Author and Researcher @ Indian Journal of Opthalmology
2022 - 2024Built an image recognition AI model to assist ophthalmologists with diagnosing patients with glaucoma. Worked closely with glaucoma specialist for data, feedback, and consistent accuracy. Presented findings at state science conference and gathered feedback to further refine study and conclusions. Worked with peer review committee to refine research paper and publish in 2023 edition of PubMed-Indexed Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. Achieved 81% accuracy on glaucoma classification from retinal fundus images using self-designed ResNet-50v2 CNNs. Recognized for outstanding research contributions and citations through Apprecitaion Certificate at Indian Journal of Ophthalmology Conference in Delhi.
Blogger @ StemToGo
2021 - 2023Designed and published articles explaining complex concepts in simplified terminology to an audience of 30,000+ members of the Non-Profit organization StemToGo.
